Plougrescant, Brittany

I've so little time at the moment and so many photos to sort through and post after my recent short holiday in France.  Here's a few from a visit to Plougrescant in Brittany.  Each little cottage had it's own guardian(s) from the sea in the form of huge, granite rocks - even so, I imagine that living there can be a bit hairy in a storm! When we were there the tide was out and although it made for some very dramatic scenery I would've loved to see the area when the tide was in as well.  Unfortunately we were only in the area for two days and there's so much to see....

Ishmael found it all quite exhausting and when we got back to the car he couldn't even lift his head to eat his chew ;o)

wow, what a magnificent coastline, it reminds me of the coast in the Highlands of Scotland. Those little houses are so beautiful and what a location, I bet you can watch the weather roll in from there but be sheltered from the worst by the huge rocks. Haha, the lasts shots fantastic, love it:)
